In Memory of Art “Tooter” Flores 1960-2018

Honoring a Legacy of Love, Service, and Community

Art “Tooter” Flores was a lifelong resident of Flagstaff and Williams, AZ. His love for the land and community in Northern Arizona was only outmatched by his love for his extensive family. Tooter was a jack-of-all-trades- an avid golfer with a love for athletics, hunter and outdoorsman, gardener and caretaker, and a natural artist with an inherent appreciation for beauty and artistry. Art loved to work hard creating things with his hands and play even harder when it came to his hobbies. Anyone who met him, though, knows he found his greatest joy in cooking for his family and friends and had a magical way of bringing those from all walks of life together as he welcomed all into his home and heart. He was a generous man who walked in Faith and aimed to be of service to those he loved and those in need, particularly. The Art Flores Memorial Foundation (AFM) is centered on these values he embodied and focuses on the causes important to Art through pastimes he enjoyed.

Tooter was a loving husband and father, and our family was changed forever when he passed. The AFM is our tribute to him, and we invest in him as a way to pay forward all of the love he gave each of us. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our foundation and keeping Tooter’s memory alive.

Our Mission

The AFM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers people and organizations working to uplift the communities of Flagstaff and Williams, AZ. We support causes that were close to Art’s heart, including:

Youth Engagement – Encouraging young people to find purpose and connection

Supporting the Underprivileged & Underserved – Helping those in need

Mental Health Awareness & Suicide Prevention – Creating conversations that save lives
We raise funds through charitable events and community partnerships to directly support these initiatives.
